How it works

Storage by the box has never been simpler.

Follow our four-step guide on how Access Box Storage works. From making a booking to the collection of your items, we’ve got you covered. If you need more help you can check out our FAQs.

  • step 1

    You Book

    • Type in your postcode to check that you’re located within our London service area
    • Next, select how many boxes or other items you need to store your belongings and how long for. Unfortunately, we can't store furniture.
    • If you store with us between 1-5 months, the storage costs £7.50 per box per month, and for other items for £9.90 per item per month. But, if you pay upfront for 6 months, you can get a 10% discount, 9 months for a 15% discount and 12 months for a 20% discount.
    • As well as the free boxes we deliver to your door, you can choose some packing materials to be sent to you. These include bubble wrap and strong packing tape to secure your items and box.
    • Then, select a date and time that is convenient for you for your boxes to be delivered. Don’t forget to pop in your address! Enter your UK mobile number so that when we plan your delivery, we can give you a delivery time slot and inform you when you’re 15 minutes away.
    • At the end of the online booking process, you’ll have created an account and selected your payment plan.

    We Collect Your Storage Items

    • Our courier team will notify you of a 4-hour collection slot for the storage box or other items collection date you have selected.
    • When they arrive, simply hand over your labelled boxes or larger items to them and they’ll transport these to our secure storage facility in London.
    • Please note that we only collect from and deliver to the ground floor.

    We Store Your Items

    • We are storage experts with 20 years’ experience and the safety of your boxes and larger items is our priority.
    • Your belongings are secured behind a fenced perimeter storage facility, failsafe alarm systems and monitored 24/7 CCTV.

  • step 4

    We Return Your Items to You

    • When you need your boxes / other items returned, simply login to your account; navigate to ‘My Orders’; select the order you want returned; and click the blue ‘Return order’ button.
    • You can select one or many of your boxes/items to be returned to you by choosing a return date and checking that your return address is correct.  Your return address can be different from your collection address but remember, it needs to be within our London service area.
    • Finally, select your payment method and complete your return payment. We charge a flat fee of £29.00 per return order.
